ARCHIVAL PRINTS
Fragments of Control and the Resilience to Let Go
Artist Statement
Ineditable Tomorrow is a triptych that explores the fragility of connection, the inevitability of change, and the resilience required to face an uncertain future. Inspired by Nina Simone’s poignant song You’ve Got to Learn, the series reflects on the emotional complexities of letting go and finding strength in adversity.
Through augmented reality, Ineditable Tomorrow transforms into a dynamic narrative. When viewed with a mobile device or tablet, the artwork comes alive: one panel is sliced apart like a piece of cake, symbolizing the division of emotions and the cutting away of what no longer serves us. Another panel crumbles to the ground, embodying the collapse of ever-changing beliefs that we have control. At the center, a figure looks directly at the viewer, a moment of raw confrontation and clarity, symbolizing the resilience required to face the future.
The title Ineditable Tomorrow speaks to the unalterable truths we must accept while simultaneously holding onto the hope of transformation. Augmented reality serves as both a metaphor and a medium, challenging the viewer to actively engage with the art and its deeper questions.
This series invites viewers to reflect on the impermanence of relationships, the courage it takes to let go, and the power of embracing change. What parts of us remain intact—or transform—when tomorrow becomes ineditable?
