Nebulous Mind explores the fragmented nature of identity in an age dominated by technology and constant distractions. This mixed-media piece reflects on how the digital world often pulls us away from self-awareness, leaving us with “our heads in the clouds.” The four figures represent the different facets of a single person, sitting disconnected from one another and isolated by the haze of their own thoughts.

The piece invites viewers to consider how we lose touch with ourselves in the midst of modern life’s noise. Yet, when viewed in augmented reality from a mobile device or tablet, Nebulous Mind offers a transformative journey. The figures and their platforms merge toward the camera, symbolizing a reunification of the self. As they merge into a singular person, the figure turns, revealing her transformation into an AI persona—an embodiment of how technology is reshaping identity in ways we are only beginning to understand.
